Jenny Bridge

A suburban childhood in Derby, enriched by occasional trips into the Peak District, led to a lifelong addiction for walking in the hills and dales of the Peak District.
Now retired and living in Bakewell, my husband and I plod along the footpaths, my frequent silences indicating that I’m grappling with my next piece of writing.
Ever since I learned to construct a sentence, I’ve been a closet writer. Now inspired by my surroundings and the Writers in the Peak, I am trying to be a little bit more open about my activities.
